  The title says it all... Erawan has the best Thai food, period, end of story!  Their family recipes for their yellow curry and red curry are simply stupendous. Honestly, I've never had better and I've actually been to Thailand.  I have literally eaten at hundreds of Thai restaurants all over the country and nothing comes close to this amazing little place.  We always start with their delicious egg rolls and crab rangoons and an egg drop soup.   Next came chicken yellow curry with potatoes and carrots that is something so unique,  you'll never taste anything that even comes close to this dish.  Followed by the red curry with shrimp and mushrooms and Mongolian beef... Stupid great!  Finally, chicken Kung Pao...oh man, this was so good that I'm sure I'll dream about it tonight.  This amazing little spot has very limited hours, 11am-2pm... So it is essentially just a lunch spot, but a really great one at that. Years ago they used to be open for dinner as well but not any longer.  Get there early because it really does get busy and if you are like me,  you order half the menu at once because he just can't stand not to eat these delicious plates.  I wish I didn't live 450 miles away from this amazing little restaurant because I would be eating here two to three times a week for sure.  If you vote with your stomach rather than your eyes, you will love this place.  There's nothing fancy about it... Just incredibly great food.  The plates are small but the food is very cheap so order multiple plates.  The average price is about $6 a plate.  don't listen to the idiots who say that the portions are small... What do you want for 6 bucks!  The food is amazing!They are the nicest people also and the service is great. This food is 5-star all day long...  If I could I would give it six stars.

  This is one of the best Thai joints anywhere! I travel a lot and if I'm in town at lunchtime this place is a must!

  Erawan has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. They don't keep regular hours (they can be closed anytime, any day) and their service and foods sucks. I won't go there ever again and it used to be my go to for chicken pad Thai. I recommend going to Tantra or Lemongrass instead.

  Tried Erawan for the first time today and I was impressed! The sauces were light and flavorful, and the crab rangoons are now my favorite in the QC!

  If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you.  Went for lunch.  There were four tables with guests and one server.  Took service almost 10 minutes to take my order and then another 30 minutes for the food, which was marginal at best, to be prepared and brought to the table.  The server was nice but very disorganized.  The food was fine but nothing special.
